I've stopped at their market several times but this was my first time eating from the restaurant. It ended up being the best burrito I've had in the area. Definitely would return for another one. It was huge! And I liked that the beans were not made with lard so those of us who can't eat pork can still enjoy them.
It's fire, one of the best places for food in Elkhart/Goshen. Service is well and they attend to you quick, plus the atmosphere is nice. While you're waiting you could go to the store side and buy groceries

El Rosal has the very best authentic tacos in the area. I usually go with al pastor, but the steak and chorizo are amazing as well. Their salsa is especially great. I also love shopping for groceries in the attached store.

I'm not sure why the reviews aren't better because this place is authentic and delicious.. not to mention reasonably priced. You get complimentary chips and salsa which is always great! They give you 2 salsas both in condiment squeeze bottles which I thought was odd because you have to squeeze salsa on each of your chips. You have to ask for a bowl to put the salsas in. I got 3 asada tacos and they were tasty. I would recommend adding avocado to them! The service was pretty slow but the server was nice. I will be back to get more tacos and maybe even try a burrito!
Finding really really amazing Mexican food is hard to do around here! This is once of those places. It's a grocery store that has a taqueria inside it. I also like to think it is a taqueria that has a grocery store inside it...because I mostly go there for that purpose. Lazy? I think not. It just always hits the spot. The quality meat, different red and green sauces, and the friendly staff make the place what it is. Being from out of town I often think how I am sure many people by pass this place up by not really knowing what is inside. They have all the normals: burritos, tacos, tortas, quesadillas. Point blank: everything is made with quality ingredients, you will leave full, and you will want to come back!
